The Rope Jam at Daruma welcomes shibari enthusiasts of all levels and backgrounds to practice, play, chat, or just to watch.

Beginners and curious newcomers are super welcome, and you don’t need to come with a partner in order to attend.

We have a large and beautiful 100sqm room, with a huge suspension frame, 10 Hashira, tea, and a cosy chill out area.

Instructions

Please arrive between 7pm and 7.30pm, after that the door will be closed. At 7.30pm, there is a short welcome round/introductory talk. If you are coming to the rope jam for the first time, we recommend you arrive in time for this.
If you need to arrive later than 7.30pm, please send a message in advance to let us know so we can make arrangements to let you in.

We are located in Neukölln, Berlin. Right next to ubahn Grenzallee and a very short walk from sbahn Neükolln

Please reserve a space using the booking system below, and remember to cancel as soon as possible if you are unable to attend as this frees up space for anyone who might be on the waiting list.

The booking system does not take payments  – you can pay in cash on the door according to what you can afford. We don’t ask for proof of low income, nor do we keep a record of who is paying what.
