with Ztella and Moir
The Tengu is stable, versatile, easy on the shoulders, kind to sensitive nerves – and so cute! But the tying often feels a bit awkward... and why do the hands stay free for so long?
In this class, you’ll learn Ztella’s creative approach to tying this harness that finally feels smooth and flowing. In this one-day intensive, Ztella and their co-teacher, Moir, will start by showing the techniques involved for learning this harness and integrating it into a session. We’ll then explore a series of playful (and hot) partial suspensions that illustrate how to best utilize and have fun with this harness (and each other)!
Prerequisites
This class is suitable for a wide range of levels. You do not necessarily need to be comfortable with uplines, though it is required if you want to do all of the partial shapes (there are also fun options for staying on the floor).
Both partners should be able to communicate well and feel comfortable tying together.
Riggers should be confident with single and double column ties and (if you want to do the partials part) be able to securely close uplines at top and bottom.
Bottoms don’t necessarily need (partial-)suspension experience, but should know what it feels like when their hands fall asleep – and ideally be able to tell that apart from nerve issues.
